For over 40 years Farmers Insurance has served the Northeast Minneapolis neighborhood. Since that time our clients have moved all over the state of Minnesota and we continue to serve them today. Teenagers have grown, become parents, then grandparents and we have insured each generation.
My name Is Jim Hollister and in 1987 I joined the office and started my own agency. In September 1991, I earned the designation, Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow. In addition I have devoted many hours to classroom training on a variety of insurance and financial related topics.
I am an active member of Northeast Minneapolis, Audubon Neighborhood Association and Johnson Street Merchants Association. I have served on the board of the Northeast Economic Development Council, am past President of the Johnson Street Merchants Association, have served on the Audubon Neighborhood Association Board where I functioned as the Treasurer of the organization. In addition I administered the Fix and Paint Program that provided funds for business in the neighborhood. I believe in a strong business community and giving back to the community I serve. Linda Skowronek is our Office Manager and Licensed Customer Service Representative. Linda is usually the person you will talk to when you call. Linda has over 20 years of insurance experience. If you have a question, Linda is our go-to person. In addition, Linda also spends many hours each year keeping up with new developments in the insurance industry, and receives additional training to better serve you.
Helping Linda is Penny Gault. Penny recently joined the agency handles billing questions and reminders. Penny has a strong background in customer service and provides another level of service.
