After you make an offer on a home and it has been accepted there is other items that need to be taken care of. This list is a basic list and is provided for our customers to help smooth the process.
- 1. Obtain a homeowners policy. The policy must be paid in full with a receipt and binder provided to your closing company. This office will fax all the needed paperwork to your closer. The binder must show the Mortgagee Clause and Loan Number. Be sure your Loan Provider or Real Estate Agent gives you this information.
- 2. Call to transfer utilities and financial accounts:

a. Phone (don't forget your computer, this may be the time to upgrade to dsl
b. Water
c. Sewer
d. Trash
e. Cable/satellite provider
f. Credit card providers
g. Bank Accounts
h. Driver license, professional license ie: notary
i. Loans: car, etc.
- 3. Subscriptions, ie: newspaper, magazines, etc,
- 4. Medical Provider:___Doctor ___Clinic ___Dentist
- 7. Property inspector: inspect for mechanical, structural electrical and water related problems
- 8. ALWAYS do a final walk-thru prior to closing and address any concerns
- 9. Arrange for Moving truck, hand truck, boxes
